Soup Kitchen client Geoff Swain served in the army for over 15 years, touring in Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands. “I have been coming here three times a week since I came out of the army six years ago. The support we receive from Burton Soup Kitchen makes a huge difference in our lives. We can enjoy a cooked meal and meet up with our friends. We are scattered all over the place, so if its wasn’t for the Soup Kitchen, we would be isolated.”
